Intelligent Energy is a programme to develop commercial projects which will reduce energy costs.

At Nygo Limited our emphasis for Intelligent Energy is to develop lighter weight transport. Lighter weight transport will simply use less energy. For example an empty cargo container typically weighs 4.2 tonne. Reducing the weight of this by using a steel and carbon fibre cargo container will reduce the weight to 3 tonne or less. This will save 1.2 tonne which is the weight of a car. Imagine not having the weight of a car to transport over a 15 year life of a cargo container. Then multiply that by 1% of the global cargo containers. This will have a very significant energy saving which is translated into lower fuel costs.

Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) is funded by the European Union. The European Union is keeping its promise of tackling climate change. The IEE projects are designed to help the Union meet the ambitious target of having renewable sources contribute to 20% of our energy by 2020 and to use less energy.

Nygo Limited welcome Global partners to cooperate and build a technical team to deliver a light weight carbon fiber and steel cargo container. The aim is to present our energy saving project to the IEE and then to achieve funding of the project to develop commercial products.
